This is the last year for the small-bumper 107-bodies and came to us with a 3-ring binder of records from the 2nd owner, who bought it in 1993 with about 80K on it (it now has 91K), and among his many general service and resto bills includes photos before, during, and after his first class, bare-metal respray in the the original Astral Silver. (Additionally, the chrome on this car is excellent and appears to be all original, with no pitting or "sunburn" fading). During this period the interior was also done - carpets, seat covers and cushions, sun visors, and dashboard (the door side panels are original and are still in good shape). After 2000 this car was little driven, and in the 'teens it mostly just sat, in consequence of which we wound up performing $3400 worth of updates including new AC, most fluids and hoses, some front end work, and a long list of small items & adjustments. We also installed a new top and 4 new Michelins. This car is quite nice and is ready for "Show or Go".....$14,950. Note please: This is a US model not a Euro - the Euros were the "350SL" with the 3.5 engine, the 4.5 engine (which is a stroked 3.5) appears in all US models. (If you want the whole story on the 350/450SL designations it appears in the writeup on the blue '72 "project car" posted on this website). The Euro headlamps were apparently installed by the original owner.
